Jeff Leach Announces Endorsement from Sharron Albertson

Jeff Leach, a Republican from Plano running for State Representative, today announced the endorsement of Collin County conservative activist and volunteer, Sharron Albertson.

In her statement, Mrs. Albertson said, “Our state is in need of courageous and principled conservative leadership to tackle the tough issues the Texas legislature will face in the days ahead. Having grown up in Plano, Jeff Leach knows the people and values of Collin County well. He has the experience and the integrity necessary to represent District 67. I support his candidacy for the Republican Primary in Texas House District 67 and encourage voters in District 67 to do the same.”

The Texas Federation of Republican Women recently recognized Sharron Albertson, a long time conservative activist, for having the most volunteer hours in the State of Texas. Mrs. Albertson is also the Texas Director for National Life Chain, a public movement designed to bring national attention to promoting adoption and fighting to end abortion. “Jeff Leach is a strong advocate for the pro-life movement. I know he will fight in Austin for the sanctity of every life,” she said.

In response to Mrs. Albertson’s endorsement, Jeff Leach said, “Sharron Albertson’s name is synonymous with service and commitment to true conservative causes. I am thankful to have her support of my candidacy – and am proud to know and call her friend.”

Running for Texas House of Representative in District 67, Leach was raised in Plano and graduated from Plano Senior High School. As a graduate of SMU’s Dedman School of Law, he currently practices with the law firm of Griffith Nixon Davison, P.C. He received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University, where he served two terms as Student Body President. He and his wife Becky are active members of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano. They live in Plano with their children, Brady and Charlotte.
