(PLANO) â€“ Jeff Leach, a Plano resident running for State Representative in District 67, issued the following statement in response to the announcement of Representative Jerry Maddenâ€™s retirement.
â€śToday we honor a lifetime of community service of Jerry Madden. His commitment to the service, whether in the United States Army, the community of Collin County or as our State Representative for nearly 20 years, is remarkable. I am sure that in retirement Rep. Madden will continue to fight the good fight with great drive and determination that has always guided him.â€ť
Leach is running for Texas House of Representative in District 67. As a graduate of SMUâ€™s Dedman School of Law, he currently practices with the law firm of Griffith Nixon Davison, P.C. He received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University, where he served two terms as Student Body President. Jeff was raised in Plano and graduated from Plano Senior High School. He and his wife Becky are active members of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano. They live in Plano with their children Brady (3) and Charlotte (1).
