Governor Greg Abbott Endorses
State Representative Jeff Leach for Re-Election  

PLANO РFollowing the recent announcement of his plans to seek re-election to the Texas House of Representatives, today State Representative Jeff Leach announced that he has been endorsed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott.

‚ÄúRepresentative Leach has been a steadfast supporter of my conservative agenda, and I am proud to endorse him for re-election,‚ÄĚ said Governor Abbott. ‚ÄúRepresentative Leach has been a valuable ally in the fight to lower property taxes and to combat violent crime in our communities, and I ask the voters to send him back to continue our efforts next session. The voters of House District 67 can be assured that Representative Leach will fight for their interests and will continue¬†to be an advocate for the values Texans hold dear.‚ÄĚ

A fifth-generation Texan with deep roots in¬†Collin County, Representative Leach was born and raised in Plano and is a graduate of Plano Senior High School. ¬†Leach earned his undergraduate degree from Baylor University and went on to earn his law degree from Southern Methodist University‚Äôs Dedman School of Law. ¬†Named a 2017 ‚ÄúRising Star‚ÄĚ by¬†Texas Super Lawyer, Jeff¬†currently practices at the law firm of Gray Reed & McGraw, P.C. in Dallas, where he specializes in complex commercial and civil litigation, construction law and real estate. ¬†Recognized as one of the leading conservatives in the Texas House of Representatives, Jeff currently serves as Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Urban Affairs and serves on the House Committee on Small Business and Economic Development.¬† Jeff proudly serves on the Board of Trustees for Houston Baptist University, on the Board of Trustees for Medical City¬†of¬†Plano and¬†on the Advisory Board for Meals on Wheels of Collin County.

Jeff and his wife Becky, an author, speaker and small business owner, are the proud parents of Brady (age 9), Charlotte (age 7) and Landry (age 3). They are active members of Prestonwood Baptist Church, where they have served for several years in the Young Families Ministry.
