House District 67 Candidate Dr. John Pitchford Endorses Jeff Leach

Dr. John Pitchford, longtime Collin County conservative activist and former candidate for State Representative in HD 67, today announced his endorsement of Jeff Leach in the upcoming runoff election on July 31st. This endorsement adds to the growing list of Collin County leaders who are rallying behind Jeff Leach’s campaign for the Texas House, including State Representative Jerry Madden, State Representative Ken Paxton and State Representative Jodie Laubenberg, as well as House District 67 Candidate Roger Burns.

“The clear choice in this race is Jeff Leach,” Pitchford said. “Jeff has the character and integrity needed to represent the interests of the citizens of Collin County in Austin. The next Legislature will be faced with many difficult challenges. In this election we will be choosing a leader to guide us through the difficult process of balancing the budget while making important decisions about issues such as education and infrastructure. I am confident Jeff Leach will face these challenges head on, his conservative values guiding him to make the right choices for our community and the State of Texas.”

In response, Jeff Leach said, “I am grateful for the support and endorsement of Dr. John Pitchford, a passionate conservative leader in Collin County. I value John’s commitment to our community, his thoughtful analysis and advice on the issues, and his engagement with our campaign to elect the true conservative leader in this race.”

Running for Texas House of Representative in District 67, Jeff Leach was raised in Plano and graduated from Plano Senior High School. He is a graduate of SMU’s Dedman School of Law and currently practices with the law firm of Griffith Nixon Davison, P.C. He received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University. Jeff and his wife Becky are active members of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano. They live in Plano with their two children Brady, age 4, and Charlotte, age 1.
