Jeff Leach Raises More Than Double His Opponents

Jeff Leach, a Conservative Republican running for State Representative in District 67, has raised in total political contributions more than double each of his opponents, according to reports filed with the Texas Ethics Commission.  Leach has raised $121,956.00 since announcing his candidacy

Also of note, Leach has remained completely debt free throughout the course of his campaign. Unlike his primary opponents, Leach has chosen not to rely on loans to fund his campaign, but rather on the generous contributions of fellow conservatives who wholeheartedly support his bid to be the next State Representative for Collin County.

‚ÄúI and my team are extremely grateful for the support received throughout this campaign. Our recent financial report clearly shows that we have tremendous¬†momentum headed in to the Texas Primary. However, our work is not done. We must continue to fight to election day to ensure that the conservative voice of Collin County is heard in Austin,‚ÄĚ Leach said.

Running for Texas House of Representative in District 67, Jeff Leach was raised in Plano and graduated from Plano Senior High School. He is a graduate of SMU’s Dedman School of Law and currently practices with the law firm of Griffith Nixon Davison, P.C. He received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University. Jeff and his wife Becky are active members of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano. They live in Plano with their two children Brady, age 4, and Charlotte, age 1.

Leach has received many prominent endorsements from groups such as the Texas Association of Realtors, Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, Young Conservatives of Texas, Collin County Conservative Republicans, Conservative Republicans of Texas and Texas Right to Life, among others. He has also been endorsed by numerous community leaders such as David McCall, Olin Jaye, Bob Baker, Candy Noble, Sharron Albertson, Kelly Shackelford and former House District 67 Candidate Mabel Simpson. Leach has received an ‚ÄúA‚ÄĚ rating from the NRA and Texas State Rifle Association and is the only candidate in the race for House District 67 to be ‚ÄúTea Approved‚ÄĚ by the North Texas Tea Party.
