COLLIN COUNTY JUDGE & COMMISSIONERS UNANIMOUSLY ENDORSE REP LEACH FOR RE-ELECTION

“Jeff Leach has been on the front lines in the fights that matter most to our citizens – lowering taxes, limiting government, investing in infrastructure, improving education and keeping Texas safe, free and strong.”

ALLEN — Today, State Representative Jeff Leach announced he has been endorsed for re-election by Collin County Judge Chris Hill and the entire Collin County Commissioners Court: Susan Fletcher, Duncan Webb, Cheryl Williams and Darrell Hale. This endorsement announcement adds to the growing momentum of support for Representative Leach’s re-election by multiple local organizations and leaders, including Collin County Sheriff Jim Skinner, the Plano and Richardson Police Associations, the Plano and Richardson Fire Associations, the Collin County Association of Realtors, and the vast majority of City Councilmembers serving Plano, Allen and Richardson.

In his endorsement, County Judge Chris Hill stated that “Jeff Leach is an effective advocate and leader for Collin County in Austin. He’s been on the front lines in the fights that matter most to our citizens – lowering taxes, limiting government, investing in infrastructure, improving education and keeping Texas safe, free and strong. I am proud to endorse and support him for re-election and look forward to our continued work together to ensure Collin County remains the best place to live, work and raise a family in Texas.”

Cheryl Williams, long-time Richardson resident and Commissioner of Precinct 2, including much of House District 67, said “With deep roots in Collin County, Jeff understands the needs and priorities of our fast- growing community, and has proven himself to be an exceptionally effective leader in the Texas House of Representatives. He is firmly committed to listening, to working hand-in-hand with his constituents and community leaders, and to collaborating and building consensus on complex issues important to our District. Jeff and his team are fierce and effective advocates on our behalf in Austin and, without reservation, I fully support his re-election.”

Susan Fletcher, Commissioner of Precinct 1, stated “I have known, and served alongside Jeff Leach for many years, and I can say first-hand that he is a man of faith, a man of the utmost integrity, and a man who is wholly devoted to serving his constituents. During his four sessions in the Texas House, Jeff Leach has worked tirelessly for us, proving to be a strong voice in representing Collin County, both here at home, as well as in Austin. He’s built an impressive resume of accomplishments on our behalf – delivering meaningful victories for Texas taxpayers, and I am excited to wholeheartedly endorse and support Jeff Leach for re-election.”

In response, Representative Leach said, “Collin County is, without question, one of the best places to call home – not only in Texas, but across the entire Nation. That is due in large part to the leadership and vision of our local leaders – namely our County Judge and County Commissioners. I’ve worked hand in hand with them over the years to deliver on our promises to the citizens of Collin County – lowering taxes, ensuring strong schools, investing in infrastructure and keeping our community safe – and I am more committed than ever to continue this important work to ensure the Collin County of tomorrow is even stronger than the Collin County of today.”
