COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates Banned!

Late last night, the Texas House passed my bill, SB 7, which will ban COVID-19 vaccines mandates in Texas – the strongest bill of it’s kind in the nation. We are protecting employees and their fundamental rights by ensuring that companies who don’t comply incur a hefty fine. Additionally, we made sure our nursing students and healthcare workers were covered in this legislation – a population that has been the most affected by these vaccine mandates.

I’m pleased that we were able to pass this bill and protect constituents and their right to work and look forward to Governor Abbott signing it very soon!
