Rep. Leach Is Sworn In for the 88th Legislative Session
Today, in a formal ceremony commencing the 88th Legislative Session at the Texas Capitol, I was administered the oath of office, beginning my sixth term of service in the Texas House of Representatives.

As I take the Oath of Office with my loving family by my side and begin my sixth term, I am ever mindful of the immense honor and privilege I have to serve and advocate for my constituents in their Texas House of Representatives. Serving here is a duty and responsibility that I do not take lightly – and while I am very proud of our record of accomplishment over the past five sessions, I am more committed than ever to ensuring Texas continues to be prosperous, safe and strong — and a bright beacon of freedom and liberty for the rest of the Nation. We know what the people of Texas expect and demand – and I intend on working tirelessly over the next 140 days to ensure that we deliver.
