Trey’s Law in Washington D.C.

Incredibly special to be present in Washington D.C. to watch the Senate Judiciary Committee unanimously vote to pass the federal version of Trey’s Law that I passed in Texas with Senator Angela Paxton – sponsored by Senator Cruz – groundbreaking legislation empowering victims of sexual abuse and assault. What started in the Texas Legislature is truly changing the world — once again. Thanks to Elizabeth Carlock Phillips for your courage and devotion to honoring your brother, Trey.
