Trey’s Law Passes the Texas House!

House Bill 748, also known as Trey’s Law, passed the Texas House today. This bill prohibits non-disclosure agreements from being used to prevent victims of sexual abuse or assault from disclosing their abuse to others. In short, this bill empowers survivors to speak out, seek justice, and protect others from harm. brave women who came forward to share their painful experiences are the true champions of this effort and the Texas House stood with them and passed Trey’s Law unanimously.
